What is Drive2Earn?

Drive2Earn rents cars to Uber Eats, DoorDash, rideshare and delivery drivers in Sydney. Contact us, pick a car you like from our listings at a fixed weekly price, and drive away and earn. You pay a two-week bond that is refunded at the end of the first two weeks (subject to your agreement and the vehicle being returned in line with the terms). Rental length stays flexible - details are in your agreement.

What is the two-week bond and when do I get it back?

When you start, we take a bond equal to two weeks of that vehicle's fixed weekly rent. It is refunded at the end of the first two weeks of the rental, provided the conditions in your agreement are met (for example, payments are up to date and the vehicle is in acceptable condition). Exact wording is in your contract.

How long do I have to rent the car?

Rental length is flexible. We do not publish a rigid lock-in period on the website - your agreement sets out notice, return and how long you rent.

How is this different from buying with finance?

You are renting the car for delivery and rideshare work, not taking out a car loan to buy it. You pay a fixed weekly rent (the price shown for that vehicle), a two-week bond (refunded at the end of the first two weeks per your agreement), and there is no bank loan. You contact us, choose your car, and drive.

Do I own the car?

No. The vehicle remains ours during the rental. You use it under the rental agreement for the agreed platforms and period. Ownership does not pass to you through this weekly rental model unless a future contract explicitly says otherwise.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Accepted Answer

Income from driving can vary week to week. If you think you will miss a week, contact us immediately so we can talk through options. Late or missed payments may affect your bond refund or agreement under the terms you sign.

Can I return the car early?

Ending your rental is handled according to your rental agreement - including any notice period or fees. Contact us before you need to return the vehicle so we can explain the process.

Are rego, insurance and servicing included?

What is included in your weekly rate depends on the vehicle. Registration, insurance and servicing may be bundled or separate - we set that out in writing before you sign. You should budget for fuel and anything not listed in your agreement.

Do I need perfect credit?

We still need to check we are renting responsibly. We may look at credit and affordability, but we also care about how you earn (apps, ABN, bank statements). Contact us and we will walk through what we need.

Question 10

What happens when I want to finish renting?

Follow the notice and return steps in your agreement. We inspect the car, close out payments, and handle any final charges or refunds according to the terms you signed.

Can I use the car for Uber Eats, DoorDash or rideshare?

Yes - that is what Drive2Earn is for. Tell us which platforms you use when you first contact us so we can match you with a suitable vehicle and so insurance and use clauses are correct.
